Professional, Full Time (Contract)

Location: Miri, Sarawak

This position is responsible to perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and configuration of computer related hardware and software. The incumbent is expected to provide high quality, efficient, proactive and reactive technical maintenance support services as an extension of the helpdesk.

• \xef\xbb\xbfPerform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and configuration of computer related hardware and software.
• \xef\xbb\xbfProvide high quality, efficient, proactive and reactive technical maintenance support services as an extension of the helpdesk.
• \xef\xbb\xbfWork with supplier to handle repair & maintenance of hardware devices.
• \xef\xbb\xbfRecord all changes (i.e. on lamp/toner/camera), implementations and support in a ticket.
• \xef\xbb\xbfCommunicate with users about the maintenance, change and outage plan.
• \xef\xbb\xbfCommunicate effectively with all parties before and during and on completion of any work with the status so that all parties are aware of the work progress.

\xef\xbb\xbfRequired qualification:

• \xef\xbb\xbfA professional Certificate, Diploma in Computer Engineering (Communication/ Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT) or equivalent.

\xef\xbb\xbfSelection Criteria:

• \xef\xbb\xbfAt least one (1) year of relevant work experience. Direct experience in system hardware support and helpdesk system operations are an added advantage.
• \xef\xbb\xbfDemonstrated a positive attitude and skills in providing a high quality customer service.
• Proven experience/Knowledge in system and network troubleshooting and windows.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively; both independently and in a team environment.\xef\xbb\xbf
