Job Description

Overall Responsibility: The Head Bartender oversees the outlet\xe2\x80\x99s bar operations and other bartenders\xe2\x80\x99 work to ensure that they provide positive customer experience. He ensures the smooth running of the bar. He should also be skilled in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons. Core Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest level of hospitality when preparing and providing beverages.
• Perform all necessary tasks to service beverages according to the standard of the company.
• Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, bottle flaring and up-selling.
• Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
• Work towards the timely set up of the bar areas in line with the opening hours.
• Delight the guest by offering trend setting and innovative products and services, contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue.
• Prepare outlet requisitions and bar requisitions.
• Handle guest complaints directly.
• Extend prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.

Skills Required:

• Highly organised individual who is able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Flamboyant and bartending skills coupled with thorough knowledge about all types of liquor and cocktails are an advantage.
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to learn and adapt to market changes.
• Previous experiences in leadership and supervisory roles are definitely a plus.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least a high school diploma. Diploma/Degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage industry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Bar Operations.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good guest service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Well presented, smart in appearance and well groomed individual with an outgoing and friendly attitude and a high aptitude for customer care.
• You are a hands-on and proactive person with a charismatic and approachable character.
• You will work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• A great team player, who thrives in working with a multicultural team and guests alike.
