Job Description

Job Summary*

Head, Credit Card Acquisition Manager. The position is responsible to run and manage Acquisition programs & channels to acquire new credit cards for SCB Malaysia.

Key result areas for the individual are:

  • Drive and develop card acquisition programs while
  • Balancing cost per acquisition (CPA) by looking at better cost efficiencies and channel productivity, and,
  • Growing alternative new channels to enable channel diversification.
  • Managing key stakeholders such as Operations, Fraud, Credit Initiation/Policy, Partnerships, CDD, Compliance, Legal, Sales (DSMS, TPS, Digital, V&V, Branches)
  • To review existing credit policy and find opportunities to increase approval rates (i.e: test programmes, waiver of checks) and optimizing turn-around-time
  • To curate acquisition campaigns for both offline and online with the objective to acquire new customers.
  • To manage Onboarding Projects (RTOB) - Review requirements, testing, process flow development and automation process to result in Straight-through-Processing (STP) which results in cost savings.
  • Develop organizational resilience and competitive advantage through people initiatives
  • Driving management(s) direction for business growth objective

Engage internal stakeholders to develop card acquisition activities through campaigns and credit test program to achieve & exceed business/ financial targets

Processes*

Responsible for ideation & execution of acquisition campaigns to drive card acquisition and fulfilment. Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop RTOB end-to-end process (from business requirement, reviewing user stories, alignment with all stakeholders, UAT and UVT implementation).

People & Talent *

Work with various stakeholders to ensure campaigns are well executed and campaign targets are met.

Risk Management*

Adherence to GPS, ensuring controls and measures are updated and put in place to minimise gaps.

Governance *

Understanding of regulatory framework, requirements and expectations.

Training, licenses, memberships and certifications

Academic qualification i.e. Degree in any discipline (preferably Banking & Finance), or
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Banking (preferably in Credit or Product Management/ Retail Banking)
  • Good Analytical Skill
  • Enthusiastic, versatile and not willing to accept the status quo
