This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives and industry best practices.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term strategies to expand the clean energy business portfolio, aligned with the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and mission, while contributing to global and regional sustainability goals.
  • Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including clean energy projects, partnerships, joint ventures, and investments, in both local, regional, and international markets.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of clean energy projects\xe2\x80\x94from feasibility studies, proposal development, and financial modeling to contract negotiation, project execution, monitoring, and post-implementation review.
  • Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with regional, national, and international regulatory frameworks and environmental policies while working closely with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations to stay ahead of evolving policy landscapes.
  • Partnership Development: Build, nurture, and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, suppliers, regulatory authorities, governments, international partners, and clean energy industry associations.
  • Innovation and Technology Leadership: Stay informed of global and regional trends, technologies, and emerging innovations in the clean energy sector (solar, wind, hydrogen, carbon capture, etc.), and drive their adoption within the company to enhance competitive advantage.
  • Sustainability and ESG Goals: Lead initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into project execution and corporate strategies. Ensure alignment with global climate goals such as Net Zero and carbon neutrality targets.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of clean energy professionals, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Cultivate a culture of excellence in project execution and technical leadership.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with clean energy projects, including financial, regulatory, environmental, and operational risks on both regional and global scales.
  • Reporting and Performance Evaluation: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and board members on project performance, market opportunities, and strategic direction, ensuring all objectives are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, business administration, environmental science, or a related field. A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or professional certification in clean energy, renewable energy, or sustainability (e.g., LEED, CEM, PMP) is highly preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the clean energy sector with a successful track record of leading large-scale projects across diverse geographies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-border clean energy projects, especially in emerging markets, with an understanding of global supply chains and financing models.
Market Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of clean energy market dynamics and emerging technologies, such as solar, wind, energy storage, hydrogen, carbon capture, and energy efficiency, across both regional and international markets.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and incentive programs at national, regional, and international levels (e.g., Paris Agreement, RE100, carbon credits).
Leadership and Communication:
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and persuade a variety of stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and international partners.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make strategic decisions in complex and evolving environments.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic settings, with high adaptability and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Global Perspective:
  • A global mindset with an understanding of clean energy policies, business environments, and market trends across multiple regions including Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Familiarity with international financial mechanisms (such as carbon markets and green financing) and the ability to integrate these into business strategies.
