Job Description


DescriptionPrimary Objective:

  • Primary relationship manager of RHB Banking Group in managing a portfolio of GLC and Public Sector and large private sector clients
  • Provide support to Head, GLC and Public Sector in all Group Wholesale Banking (GWB) initiatives and implementations
  • Drive client acquisition, satisfaction and retention by ensuring appropriate service levels
  • Grow market share and share of customers\xe2\x80\x99 wallets for all products (IB, treasury, Islamic, etc.)
Increase clients\xe2\x80\x99 product portfolio breadth
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure to procure mandates deals and market RHBIB and GWB\xe2\x80\x99s products and services to existing and prospective clients in order to increase revenue
  • Provide timely and effective service i.e. giving professional and sound advice to clients
  • To keep abreast with the latest developments in the rules, regulations and guidelines governing the domestic capital market as well as the changes in the macro-economy of the market place
  • To liaise effectively with other business units to enable the delivery of the best products and services to meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 (both the company and shareholders) objectives
  • To maintain good rapport and business relationship with all clients and expanding networking with objective to secure more business opportunities
  • To review pitches, proposals and reports prepared by those under supervision
  • To train and guide those under supervision
To support and assist the Head, GLC and Public Sector in administrative and operations of the departmentRequirementsRequirements:
Bachelor Degree - \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related areas.- \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess Capital Markets Services Representative\'s License (CMSRL)Minimum of 6-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in corporate or Investment banking at an established financial institution
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing high value client relationships in corporate or investment banking
  • Ability to work across SBUs; Be a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, selling & relationship building skills
