About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Head of Accounting / Head of Finance

to lead our finance operations in

Shenzhen, China

. This role requires exceptional accounting expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with global counterparts in the UK and other regions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and closing of books, along with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a finance team of 10-15 people across accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and consolidation processes. Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial statements under international accounting standards (IFRS). Collaborate with global counterparts in the UK and other regions on group reporting and audits. Implement and maintain financial controls, systems, and best practices. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions. Drive continuous improvement and process optimization across the finance department. Utilize

Oracle ERP

and other systems for reporting and financial management. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred). Professional qualification:

ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

. Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of international financial reporting and compliance standards. Excellent command of

English and Mandarin

(both written and spoken). Experience with

Oracle

or similar ERP systems. Proven ability to lead cross-functional finance teams. Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
