Head of Accounting based in Kuala Lumpur
About our client:
This company is an MNC in the financial services industry with multiple partnerships across the country.
Your key responsibilities includes:
- Manage end-to-end group consolidation and audit and full set reporting.
- Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
- Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
- Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering
- Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
- Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
- A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business\'s commercial value and prior experience in group consolidation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
