You communicate and align with the project managers and sponsors and provide guidance and support as needed.After a short break, you catch up with one of your key stakeholders, the Head of Digitalization and Automation for Finance, to explore potential collaborations between your teams. You discuss the current and future state of the (accounting) systems and tools, and how you can jointly drive the adoption and integration of digital and automation solutions across the accounting processes and functions. You also exchange feedback and ideas on how to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the finance community, and potential KPI tracking ideas.You then have a lunch meeting with one of your direct reports, a senior project manager who is leading a complex and cross-functional project to harmonize and standardize the accounting policies and procedures across the regions. You review the project plan and results and provide constructive and motivational feedback. You also discuss the project manager\'s career aspirations and development goals and offer your advice and mentorship.You then join a virtual meeting with the global Accounting Services leadership team, where you present the latest updates on the transformation roadmap, the innovation pipeline, and the project portfolio performance. You highlight the successes and best practices, as well as the lessons learned and areas of improvement. You also facilitate a brainstorming session on how to use new technologies and methodologies to enhance the accounting services delivery and value propositions.You end your day checking-in with your direct reports on the latest progress and challenges they face, after that you send a status report and a summary of the key achievements and highlights of the week to the Head of Accounting Services and the regional accounting leaders.How You\'ll Make an ImpactAs Program Management Lead, you are the driving force behind the transformation and innovation of the Accounting Services organization. You are a trusted advisor and partner to the Head of Accounting Services and the regional accounting service center leaders, as well as a mentor and coach to the project managers, your directs, and further high-potentials within the organization.
