Job Description
- This role is a high-level position within an organization responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of material management.
- This role is crucial in ensuring that a company\'s supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
- As a leader to oversee Purchasing & Planning team
- Develop and implement strategic plans for material management in line with the organization\'s overall objectives.
- Streamline and optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, quality control, and finance, to ensure seamless material flow and support overall business objectives.
- Work on developing strategic relationships with key suppliers to improve supply chain reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and control expenses related to material procurement, storage, and handling to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Bachelor Degree in any related studies.
- 10-15 years in similar experience and preferably from manufacturing environment
- Strong in stakeholder management
- Excellent in communication skills & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and capable in fast-paced working environment.
- Willing to travel if required.
