Our Client: A Malaysia Government Link Company ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and provide reliable signaling & communication system to ensure safe and efficient train operations throughout our client\'s train network. C onduct preventive and corrective maintenance of signaling & communication by effectively managing the operation of all maintenance activities to avoid operations disruption. A chieve cost-effective maintenance of signaling & communication system operation via prudent planning and close monitoring of the maintenance operating budget. Formulate rules and regulations pertaining to signaling & communication systems and test officers on their knowledge of rules pertaining to railway operations to promote high safety standards in the industry. Ensure that all signaling & communication Systems comply with the statutory requirement of the Ministry of Transport, Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission, Energy Commission, and other regulatory bodies. Oversee logistic depot management as well as ensure the availability and functionality of the depot\'s facilities. Manage the response and availability of the break-down rescue team from signaling & communication regions. Requirements At least a Bachelor\'s Degree or higher, preferably in a subject that has some synergy with the signaling & communication system. A Master\'s Degree will be an added advantage; At least 10 years experience in a manager position in a signaling & communication company or a closely related field with at least 5 years experience at the senior management level; OR Well expose in finance, business development, and management; Able to command the respect of the Board of Directors, Management, and staff; Proven strategic leadership, management, and decision-making skills together with strong commercial acumen; Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu. * Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
