Develop and implement the agreed communication strategy supporting Wawasan Open University Sdn Bhd (WOU) Group\'s key priorities and strategic business plan including marketing, branding, promotion, fund raising and public relations.
Devise and implement communication (internal & external) strategies that support WOU\'s brand image and business strategy. Act as corporate spokesperson and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; composes and distributes press releases accordingly.
Capitalize on all external opportunities to position WOU as a leader in the ODL institution
Create and manage a strategic communication plan aligned with the agreed communication strategy.
Work with the Marketing team to develop media and communications materials to support marketing plans for the annual sales budget.
Provide information and support for the university\'s initiatives, students and public affairs and leadership activities.
Development of communications materials (which includes advertising materials, student and educational materials, digital platforms, premiums/gifts and jingles).
Identify \'new media\' opportunities as part of any proactive corporate communications strategy.
Develop necessary SOP for all outgoing communications materials.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years related working experience in marketing communication fields, and min 5 years in leading and strategic planning roles.
Understand Malaysian consumer behaviour
Strong experience in digital & online marketing
Passionate about education industry
