Job Description

As the Head of Corporate Communications, you will be responsible for the overall strategy of the corporate communications programmes in the company including external and internal communications, public relations and media relations. This role reports directly to the Group CEO and will lead a team of communications experts to deliver the goal.

As the Head of Corporate Communications, you will be in charge for the overall strategy of the corporate communications in the company. The main responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the corporate communications program to meet the company\'s goals at the group level
• Preparing effective communication strategies to ensure the company is well prepared during the rise of crisis and to be able to mitigate the risk
• Overlooking all internal and external channels to ensure consistent communications
• Planning and implementing corporate events and community events such as CSR activities, charity events and talks that align with the company\'s objectives
• Managing company\'s public announcements, press releases, company profiles, publications, news articles, advertisements and other materials
• Building and maintaining relationship with stakeholders such as government agencies, media, vendors and relevant authorities

The successful candidate shall be an experienced Corporate Communications professional with strategic leadership experience in this field. Other requirements include:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a related field
• At least 10 years of working experience in corporate communications
• Experience working in MNC, GLC, government department and construction related fields would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, both in English and Malay
• Passion for stakeholder engagement, internal and external
