Our client, a civil engineering and construction company specializing in piling, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works, is seeking a

Head of Engineering

to lead and manage all engineering functions for industrial projects such as factories, warehouses, logistics hubs, and energy plants.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide engineering leadership, strategy, and technical direction. Lead integration of C&S and M&E scopes for industrial construction. Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and proposal competitiveness. Oversee project design, execution, compliance, and constructability. Ensure adherence to BEM, CIDB, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, IWK, JKR, and other statutory requirements. Act as PE signatory for C&S designs and authority submissions. Manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team. Promote innovation with BIM, green building initiatives, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred). Professional Engineer (Ir.) with BEM (Civil & Structural). Min. 10 years' experience in C&S with exposure to M&E coordination. Strong industrial construction background and value engineering expertise. Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and MEP tools. Fluent in English and Mandarin. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Package:

Salary: RM12,000 - RM15,000/month Working hours: 8am-5pm, 6-day work week (full day Saturday).
