A Snapshot of Your Day The EQS Head Gas Service Asia Pacific contributes to the EQS ofSiemens Energy personnel and business in Asia-Pacific and provides strategic,operational, and tactical support with the regional EQS resources to achievingbusiness goals. The main responsibility comprises the areas of OccupationalHealth & Safety, Environment, Quality & Business Excellence, SecurityIncident & Crisis Management. This would require close alignment withinternal stakeholders, such as Project Management (PM), Service Operations(SOP), Sales and Gas Service global EQS organization. The individual would alsoengage with the Corporate EQS organization from time to time for EQS reporting,guidance, alignment, and support. The holder of this position reports to theGas Service Asia Pacific (GS AP) Business Area (BA) Head. How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the EHS and Quality managers and teammembers in the relevant Asia-Pacific countries and closely collaborates withthe local Siemens Energy Gas Service organization.
  • Drive EQStopics with Siemens Energy hub organization.
  • Participate in the strategic planning of GS APEQS implementation, including adequate resource planning with regards to the RegionalService Unit Asia Pacific (RSU AP) and coordinates EQS topics with other EQSteams in GS BA, RSUs and country as necessary.
  • Responsible for implementation and compliancewith the Siemens Energy and Gas Service EQS policies and governancerequirements, including but not limited to EHS compliance, workplace &project safety, incident crisis management and Quality & BusinessExcellence.
  • Ensure EQS strategy, initiatives and programsare developed and timely deployed to deliver successful EQS business results.
  • Provides tactical guidance, operationalsupport, and EQS consulting to Siemens Energy Gas Service regional/localleadership, management, employees, and works in close cooperation with internalstakeholders.
  • Responsible for Total Recordable Injury Rate(TRIR) and other safety KPIs, regularly support the business with incidentmanagement, including investigations, reporting, communication, andimplementation support together with other EQS resources in the region. In thearea of Quality, the governance and performance of key topics pertaining tocustomer satisfaction \xe2\x80\x98Net Promoter Score\xe2\x80\x99 (NPS), Non-Conformance Costs (NCC)and Cost-Out / Continuous Improvements is a critical requirement.
  • Supports the development of RSU initiatives andprograms, whilst proactively monitoring the EQS targets, KPIs and goals toprioritize EQS activities to support business goals and achievements.
  • Promote Quality & BusinessExcellence awareness, ensure trainings (in close collaboration with otherfunctions such as Project Management, Service Operations, Sales), coaching tosupport the achievement of business EQS objectives, as well as seeking tosimplify and improve EQS processes and procedures.
What You Bring
  • Relevant academic degree(preferably engineering), a professional qualification from a recognizeduniversity or appropriate EQS experience.
  • Relevant EQS certificationsincluding but not limited to NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma, Lean Six SigmaGreenbelt/Black-Belt would be an added advantage.
  • At least ten years of experienceworking in corporate EQS or a similar environment, with proven EQS experiencein Asia Pacific region and countries.
  • Advanced knowledge on strategic EQStopics e.g., EHS injury prevention methodologies, high-risk work activities,health management, customer quality programs, continuous and lean improvementsconcepts, process improvements techniques and non-conformances management
  • In-depth knowledge of EQS riskmanagement, root cause analysis (RCA) techniques and methodologies, auditing,lean methodology, Quality fundamentals & principles, business excellenceconcepts, legal & compliance reviews, inspections, investigationmethodologies, EQS digital tools and integrated management systems to list afew.
  • In-depth knowledge about the ISOstandards pertaining to EQS namely ISO45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and theirimplementation for a stronger EQS management system. Having lead auditorcertification in each ISO will be added benefit.
  • In-depth knowledge of internationalstandards and policies on EQS especially EHS workplace and project risks andQuality excellence in business and service operations
  • Well spoken and Written English;further languages are an advantage.
  • Member of various EQSorganizations, certification bodies and forums will be beneficial.
  • Strong customer orientation \xe2\x80\x93to respond rapidly and flexibly to customer EQS needs for urgent support.
  • Bring leadership and maturityto handle crisis situation and stakeholders within and outside the direct GS APorganization.
  • Ability to analyze andassimilate information from diverse sources, including local and internationalEQS information sources, local and international legislation, regulations, anddirectives.
  • Excellent communication, teammanagement and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasksand to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervisionand flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks and teams.
  • Ability to work under stressand outside of standard working hours if required.
  • Proven integrity and highpersonal standards of behavior
  • Sensitive and responsive tothe needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups
  • Experience in working in amultinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonalskills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
  • Computer skills and ability tolearn relevant Siemens Energy specific online applications supporting EQStasks.
  • Willingness to travel withinthe Asia Pacific region, including to customer project sites in at times remotelocations.
