Job Description


PURPOSE The Head of Marketing will lead the Marketing Team consisting of the pharmaceutical and retail businesses to achieve the vision of Market Leadership for ZPT key brands. He/She will formulate strategies to support a wide portfolio of businesses and develop creative means to serve differentiated markets ranging from direct to indirect customers depending on the products offered in each business unit. The Head of Marketing is also responsible for providing supervision and support to ensure overall functional effectiveness, operational excellence, profit maximisation, achievement of targeted market share and coverage, talent capability building, while maintaining compliance within the company\'s policies and industry regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and develop overall marketing capabilities to facilitate critical insights about the customers and markets in the design and implementation of annual \'s customer/marketing plans. Build strong collaboration and alignment with external and internal key stakeholders (clients, local and regional cross functional team) to ensure brand strategy aligns with overall vision and business objectives. Establish strong relationships and networks with key and emerging thought leaders, customers, and influencers. Lead, recommend and design strategic brand development in line with evolving technology and trends in the healthcare sector incorporating both traditional and digital marketing. Provide strategic direction in overall planning, administering, and managing day to day activities and internal commercial process to ensure adherence to local legal/regulatory compliance of marketing materials. Manage overall marketing operations and brand budget based on priority and necessary trade-off for overall performance. Drive digital transformation within Marketing Team to enhance customer connections by evaluating effectiveness of the digital strategy and leveraging on digital platform. Manage the Marketing Department including staffing, hiring, training and individual development plan based on current and future business needs while forming a collaborative, passionate and high-performing team culture. Promote and ensure team adhere to Zuellig Pharma\'s core values when carrying out day-to-day responsibilities and interactions. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree holder with a minimum of 15 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing. At least 7 years of experience in managing a team (minimum of 8 headcount). Good knowledge within the therapeutic areas of cardiovascular, oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, etc. Strong people management skill, able to influence and manage a complex set of internal & external stakeholders. Ability in budgeting and forecasting, able to understand & analyze financial data & business analytics. Great project management exposure, problem solving & decision making skill. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
