About the job Head of Marketing

What are we looking for?

From its humble beginnings in a small manufacturing plant to a full-fledged manufacturing company, our client has made themselves a household staple in homes all across Malaysia and abroad, and they are looking for YOU to join their team in their efforts of Marketing!

Responsibilities:

1. Drive Growth through Brand Leadership

  • Develop and lead brand strategy using market insights, marketing plans and total system economics to drive volume, revenue and profit growth.
  • Synthesize data across multiple sources (BI, Consumer, Company, Competitor, Customer and external distribution) to develop insights to drive strategy.
  • Responsible for executing the key growth initiatives to deliver the yearly growth and market share targets as committed at the start of each financial year.
2. Product Innovation and to-market strategy
  • Proactively identify, create, prioritize and execute effective product, package and merchandising innovation to drive consumer-centric growth.
  • Effectively engage, communicate and influence other critical functions (Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, etc) within the Company to ensure alignment and excellent execution of all identified initiatives.
3. Advertising and Creatives
  • Identify the strategic objective/s to drive the required communication strategy.
  • Manage all aspects of the creative development process to deliver highly effective communication that builds brand equity and drives growth and market share.
4. Consumer Promotions & In-store Merchandising
  • Determine promotional and presence strategy, develop and execute promotions to meet brand, consumer and customer objectives.
  • Flawless execution of initiative in terms of budget, timing and communication.
5. Media Strategy and Execution
  • Determine media objectives, strategies and manage execution of media elements that will maximize ROI from media spend.
  • Determine appropriate integrated media mix to maximize outreach.
6. Agency/ Supplier Management
  • Craft and manage favourable contracts with agencies and supplier to ensure the maximum value is achieved for the Company.
  • Hands-on management and regular communication/audit on the service-delivery of our agents and suppliers per the agreed terms of the partnership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Market Research or related field of study.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in marketing, preferably in FMCG Food.
  • Strong analytical skill in BI, using power point and SAP.
  • Able to thrive in fast pace and rapid changing environment
  • Confident, self-starter and result oriented and able to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable record of success in championing brands growth and building portfolio of brands.
Remuneration

RM 20,000 - RM 28,000
