Head of Flavour Operations, Melaka, Your future position?

As a Head of Flavour Operations, you'd develop a high performance culture within the Operations team. Lead the site operations with focus on strategy deployment and Superior Customer Experience to lead the operation to a high level of operational effectiveness. Full accountability for ensuring Safety, Service, Quality and Cost requirements are met. Responsible for developing a motivated and agile team through employee engagement and collaboration.

You will be the single point of contact for the Givaudan T&W factory in Givaudan Flavours & Fragrance Malaysia Sdn Bhd factory. An overall responsibility for T&W manufacturing and Supply Chain.

In this exciting role you will:

• Plan, organize and lead the site operations team in Malaysia.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing operations team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators for high performance and growth in each area of responsibility within the plant operations function.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing and supply chain best practices to raise the level of operational effectiveness to a higher level.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with customer-centric focus to ensure service levels are consistently met.
• Establish and maintain standard work and processes to ensure consistent standards that meet both prescribed quality and efficiency requirements.
• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations.
• Promote Continuous Improvement culture with a strong focus on driving Operations Excellence.
• Develop the capabilities of the site operations, including the site masterplan, to support the long term business growth in ASEAN.

Your professional profile includes:

• Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Supply Chain with minimum 10 years manufacturing experience in a chemical, Flavors & Fragrances, food or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes with good working knowledge of chemical or food processing, manufacturing system and supply chain management.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to lead a cross-functional team for high performance.
• Performance driven as well as having the ability to drive and lead change and efficiency initiatives.
• Experience in Lean or Six Sigma and SAP is an advantage
