Head of Contracts - Malaysia
Ewi recruitment, a leading infrastructure recruitment specialist, are seeking a well versed Contracts Manager to work with a leading engineering firm on large railway projects in Malaysia.
This engineering contractor offers specialist services to the construction and engineering sectors including project management, commercial management, contracts management, project controls and quantity surveying.
This position is to be based in Malaysia and working on several railway projects which cover Systems & Civils elements
Requirements:
For this role the client has requested professionals with the following desired skills and experience:
- Degree qualified in quantity surveying or equivalent.
- MRICS.
- 15+ years experience within contracts management, administration, claims etc.
- Extensive experience working in the railway sector. At least 15 years.
- Held senior contracts positions on at least two rail projects working a major contractor
- Manage existing contracts, logistics and supply chain
- Pre and Post Contract Management
- Control and advise local contractors and ensure they are on time and within budget.
- Manage equipment deliveries
- Experience of working in the region is highly preferable.
