Job Description

Overall in-charge for planning, develop and implement strategy for the entire Purchasing function in meeting organizational budgeted targets within time lines.

This shall include improving processes across the Purchasing for smooth working as well as optimizing capacity utilization by ensuring efficient Purchasing operations.

• Oversee the whole Purchasing department.
• Ensure the smooth operations in purchasing activity.
• Ensure the delivery on time to meet business expecation.
• Responsible for the availability of components, stocks, materials etc to fulfil customers required lead times.
• Responsible for the management of the manufacturing resource planning (MRP) process.
• Lead and execute Cost Management Initiatives.
• Develop sources on key critical components, stocks, materials and on project basis.
• Support Technical / QA department in Supplier Quality Program/ ISO 9000s and any other applicable certifications.
• Develop and implement materials cost reduction strategy for optimal cost targets.
• Provide direction for training & development.

• Bachelor\'s Degree/Diploma in Business/Supply Chain/Purchasing or any other related studies.
• 8-10 years working experience in related experience.
• Experience and knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) or MRP system
• Results and details oriented analytical.
• Strong ethics and professional presence coupled with sound leadership skills.
• Process development, change management and best practice know-how and experience.
