Lead negotiations and collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, landlords, and potential business partners, to secure favorable agreements and contracts.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics, informing strategic decision-making and market positioning.
Cultivate relationships with key industry players, trade associations, and regulatory bodies to stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and execution of business development initiatives.
Drive the development and implementation of innovative business models, product offerings, and revenue-generating initiatives to meet growth targets.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present business plans, investment proposals, and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate development roles within the retail food and beverage industry.
Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, with the ability to leverage insights to drive business growth and market expansion.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective solutions.
