Head of Secondary School, August 2023 Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya is looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Secondary to join our talented, dedicated team from August. As the next Head of Secondary you will have the opportunity to lead an exceptional team of practitioners within a rapidly growing community. Since its inception in 2003, Sri KDU Schools have continuously been at the forefront of the education industry in Malaysia, offering the Cambridge Primary and Secondary curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level. Skills: The Head of Secondary should be an adaptable educator and innovative leader with a passion for learning. They should be a good motivator, communicator and team worker and should be capable of managing key aspects of an expanding and high profile International Secondary School with a focus on raising standards. No preference in subject area is required.   • Previous senior leadership position
  • Track record of assessing, monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching and the delivery of a vibrant curriculum
  • Ability to work with all stakeholders to implement the strategic vision of the school to bring out the best in all students, promoting our vision and delivering our promises to parents.
Desirable
  • CIS / Accreditation process experience
  • DSL / DDSL experience
  • Commercial operations of schools \xe2\x80\x93 timetabling and budget planning
  • A Level experience

  • Leadership position in a school
  • Excellent professional knowledge of curricula, quality management, school organisation and current educational issues.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Promoting good communication within and beyond the school.
  • The ability to represent the school to its student and parent community.
  • Organisational and administrative skills and experience of efficient resource management.
