Job Description
The Head of Security will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic physical security program for the business unit and its assets, managing the physical security of assets and employees and crisis/critical event management governance and preparedness.
- Building a comprehensive physical security and asset protection programs and strategy and provide technical advice for all aspects of security management.
- Develop guidelines for security audits and conduct security audits.
- Drive opportunities for consolidation and cost savings by implementing centralized security services.
- Hold responsibility for implementing/maintaining crisis management plan
- Provide enterprise coordination focal point and assist the business as needed in critical events
- Develop the crisis team and pre-planning activities as appropriated
- Advise senior leadership on security issues and high-level risks and associated mitigation plans
- Ensure the safety of employees, facilities and stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other related government agencies as appropriate and maintain knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements related to physical security, disaster recovery and business continuitiy
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Studies/Administration or relevant fields
- Experience within the Police Force or Corporate experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in managing large team
