JOB PURPOSE The Head, Student Recruitment and Experience & Business Development (B2B) is responsible to assess, plan and develop opportunities, including the development and implementation of long term and annual plans for recruitment of postgraduate students, in alignment with goals and targets set at the Taylor\'s University. Responsible for driving the Business Development of Government/Corporate Sponsorship and Partnership segment of Taylor\'s Higher Education, supporting both Taylor\'s College and Taylor\'s University. He/she is accountable for achieving the segment and team recruitment through Government/Corporate Entities, and other feeder channels assigned. He/she is also accountable for supporting the campus sales targets, which supports Taylor\'s University and Taylor\'s College sales targets, by supporting the Sales Pipeline (Lead, Contact, Appointment, Visit, Enrolment and Registration). KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the student recruitment and net revenue targets and growth (pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate level of the local market: New Local - Corporate and Sponsorships) Responsible for the sales strategies planning and implementation for the Malaysian market with the objective of increasing student enrolment in the various courses and programmes offered by the College/University from various segments Effectively develop and implement innovative business development strategies to market and promote the courses and programmes offered by the College/University to various segments Identify and contact Ministries, GLCs and Corporate Entities to make appropriate presentations to promote the courses and programmes offered by the College/University Establish and maintain effective business relationships with industry, professional bodies, and Ministries/GLCs/Corporate Entities in respect to matters pertaining to the recruitment of students Provide copies of latest marketing materials/collaterals to clients in Ministries, GLCs and Corporate Entities Develop and drive the strategies and tactical plans for the achievement of the student recruitment targets and revenue target with close alignment with other commercial teams under Marketing & Communications i.e. Marketing, Digital, Corporate Communication, School Marketing, Event, Scholarships and International Student Recruitment Direct and supervise on-going client management by monitoring their implementation plan, coordinating and resolving conflicts as they arise and managing their expectations Prepare and provide comprehensive, analytical and accurate reports - daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly with regards to the recruitment to facilitate good decision making by the Management Develop the KPI\'s and Measurements for effective performance of the team to ensure productivity and performance is optimal Responsible to manage and ensure that department budget and expenditure are align with company\'s objectives Conduct research on potential markets gather and analyse competitors\' information and constantly update the market analysis to be on par with the top universities in the region Advise and recommend appropriate activities and events to the management and constantly monitor and provide feedback on the response to these activities for further improvement via monthly/quarterly/annual reports Plan, implement and participate in all major student recruitment activities which include, but may not be limited to, education fair representations, school visits, Open Days and special events organised to attract potential students Support all marketing activities and develop network links to create more awareness of the courses and programmes offered by the College & University Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the education industry, as well as presenting recommendations for marketing and promoting the courses offered by the College & University Undertake any other projects that may be assigned from time to time by the Management of Taylor\'s Assist and to provide input in the development of marketing and promotional materials in all media to support the marketing activities of the College & University JOB SPECIFICATION MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Business/Management/Marketing or related discipline RELATED EXPERIENCE At least seven (8) years of working experience in Media or Corporate Sales, with two to three (2-3) years in managerial role Business development and account management experience in an advertising company, media agency or corporate company preferred Strong network and experience in managing Ministries/GLCs/Corporate Entities preferred Proven track record in developing strategies to achieve targets as well as revenue generation Demonstrated high level budgeting skills, and return on marketing investment analysis Senior management experience that includes team leadership and team development experience and the management of finances and people COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) Proven passionate, dynamic leader and strong communicator (verbal, written, interpersonal) who can address a broad spectrum of colleagues and external partners A self-directed professional who knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, discipline with own initiative Possess good stakeholder management and is a strong team player (believes in achieving results through collaboration with other departments) Have strong quantitative, analytical, data driven and problem-solving skills Strong ability to set clear strategic and operational direction with outcome-oriented mindset Always up to date in sales and marketing trends and able to localize ideas to grow the business Strong coaching skills to provide support and build staff (junior & middle management levels) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organisational abilities Ability to network and exploit opportunities with knowledge of market insights and research Sales goal setting, tracking and review capabilities Familiar with Sales Tools, Processes and Technological development and management COMPETENCIES (BEHAVIOURAL) Obsession with the customer -
