Job Description


Our esteemed client is a rapidly expanding convenience retail store chain with a vision to become a leading name in the industry. Currently operating more than 50 outlets, they are poised for exponential growth, with plans for expansion within the next two years.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to spearhead the establishment and optimization of the supply chain operations. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution, ensuring seamless operations to support our rapid expansion plans.Job Responsibilities

  • Procurement and Vendor Management:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of products, supplies, and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Implement inventory control processes and systems to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Utilize data analytics and forecasting techniques to anticipate demand fluctuations and ensure adequate stock availability across all outlets.
  • Logistics and Distribution:
  • Oversee transportation planning, routing, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of goods to all outlets.
  • Optimize logistics operations to minimize transportation costs while maximizing efficiency and service levels.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) during the transition period and gradually transition to in-house logistics operations.
  • Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization throughout the supply chain.
  • Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the supply chain organization.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and transportation principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, inventory forecasting, and supply chain planning tools and software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
