Great that you\'re thinking about a career with BSI! Purpose of the position To drive growth of the Training business in the country and provide Cluster or Sector best practice support. To deploy and deliver BSI training best practices in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations across the country. To uphold standards of excellence in the customer experience as described in the BSI Training Brand Journey. Responsible and accountable for Country Training P&L. Key responsibilities & accountabilities Ownership of training business strategic plan including: Lead and own the training business plan for the country to ensure the plan is delivered and the planned contribution is achieved. Growth of the training business through the implementation of the BSI Training best practice management structure in the country, ensuring effective and timely recruitment and development of the key roles. Planning and execution of the annual budget, including public, in-house, and key client projects to deliver or exceed revenue, profit, and contribution targets. Planning and execution of scheduled events to BSI Training best practice KPIs Influence or directly manage marketing and sales activity to plan, and execute optimal lead generation, and fully understand and manage activity ratios to meet and exceed annual targets. Manage all training operations and support functions to deliver specified levels of customer service from the client booking a course through to post-course follow-up. Maintain standards of excellence throughout the customer journey through the delivery of course content and materials by all BSI course tutors for both internal and external resources. Work with Assessment, Sales, and Entropy business streams to support and drive training leads from Assessment and Sales client visits. Ensure that all contractual relationships with key suppliers are maintained and continually reviewed in the interests of BSI and its customers. Recruit, coach, develop and performance manage employees in line with the business talent management strategy including ongoing succession planning. Provide best practice support to cluster countries to assist in growing the country revenues to agreed levels. As part of the Malaysia Leadership team, support all other business areas in achieving overall Malaysia business strategy. Candidate specifications A bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or business major is preferred. More than 5 years of management experience and 5 years in the training field familiarity with management systems or standards is preferred. Strong leadership skills in leading a team of knowledgeable workforce. Experience in running a commercial business unit, including P&L responsibility, preferably in commercial events/training/publishing or related. Commercial understanding and experience in working with marketing functions, including an appreciation of campaign planning and execution through multiple channels. Commercial understanding and experience in the sales function, preferably both telesales and field sales. Good influencing / transverse management skills and well-presented with good public speaking. Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a client/s organization and BSI. Be self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent time management/planning skills. Able to work under pressure. Possesses strong business acumen.
