About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Head of Treasury IT

to lead end-to-end delivery, operations and enhancement of treasury application systems. This role is accountable for building a robust technology environment supporting Treasury and Global Markets, ensuring system stability, alignment to business needs, and continuous improvement.

You will manage project delivery, system support, architecture review, vendor coordination, and IT budgeting while leading a team of 20+ members. The role requires deep treasury domain knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to engage stakeholders across front office, middle office, risk and operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Treasury Application Delivery & Support

Lead and manage all treasury technology services including project delivery, system enhancement, maintenance and support. Ensure timely delivery of system upgrades, new implementations and performance improvements. Oversee incident and problem management for treasury platforms to ensure availability and stability. Establish governance, documentation and quality standards for treasury systems.

2. Business Engagement & Requirement Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Lead requirement studies, functional analysis and solution design aligning with business and regulatory demands. Provide insights on best practices across treasury workflows and systems.

3. Technology Architecture & Advisory

Provide advisory and leadership for system design, architecture review and development approaches. Guide technical teams in implementing scalable, secure and robust solutions. Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security guidelines and enterprise governance.

4. Vendor & Third-Party Management

Manage technology vendors, solution providers and third-party partners supporting treasury platforms. Oversee contract vetting, negotiation, service SLAs and performance measurement. Ensure vendors deliver quality outputs aligned with project timelines and business expectations.

5. Project & Resource Management

Lead and manage a team of 20+ IT professionals across delivery, support and operations. Oversee resource allocation, skills development, performance management and succession planning. Drive project planning, budgeting, reporting and execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. Ensure continuous alignment to SDLC, Agile methodologies and project governance frameworks.

Required Knowledge & Experience

Strong technical experience in

treasury application systems

(front, middle, back office). Deep understanding of treasury products, workflows and pricing: Money Market Forex / FX Fixed Income Derivatives Structured Products Pricing models for derivatives & structured instruments Solid experience across the full application development life cycle (SDLC / Agile). Proven ability to lead large-scale system implementations and transformation initiatives. At least

10 years of management experience

in an IT environment with exposure to banking and treasury systems.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure. High proficiency in vendor management, contract negotiation and budgeting. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence business and technical leaders. Excellent technical aptitude with a solid understanding of system integration, security and architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Certifications in Agile, SDLC, or software development methodologies are advantageous. Additional knowledge in banking operations, financial markets and regulatory technology is a plus.
