If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us\xe2\x80\xa6Formulate/establish effective and appropriate credit risk management and control framework so that all material credit risks can be properly identified, assessed, mitigated and monitored through the effective implementation of Credit Risk Governance Policy.Conduct in-depth analysis of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s credit/lending related policies/SOP(s) to ensure strict adherence to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Risk Appetite, credit policy and regulations.Lead and manage the independent credit review on the risk issues, review and challenge risk assessments and mitigation strategies proposed by the first line to ensure credit decisions are in compliance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s credit strategy/policy and relevant legal & regulatory requirements.Present and communicate to the Senior Management and relevant stakeholders at management level committees i.e. CAQ, SAC & SC on the material findings on asset/credit quality, internal controls gaps and non-compliance and propose recommendations that will result in the recalibration of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s overall Risk Appetite and lending strategy.Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) \xe2\x80\x93 formulate and align business strategy, risk management strategy and capacity to take risk in a robust and dynamic manner to optimize the risk-return trade-offs.Credit Stress Test \xe2\x80\x93 establish and execute credit stress test approaches and methodologies for identifying potential areas of vulnerabilities, evaluating resilience under different scenarios and economic cycles and the linkages between different categories of emerging risk in times of crisis.MFRS 9 Forward Looking Model \xe2\x80\x93 derive forward looking Probability of Default multipliers of PFS & BCB portfolios for measurement of Expected Credit Loss (\xe2\x80\x9cECL\xe2\x80\x9d) via incorporating forecasted Macroeconomic Variables and Observed Default Rate into regression model.Lead the Credit Risk team at entity-level governance forums i.e. discussions with internal cross-functional team (Business, Credit, Audit & Compliance) and with external stakeholders such as regulators and auditors in respect of credit risk oversight and governance by providing assurance and technical comments where required.Analyse and dissect management Information and analysis provided by the business and credit teams, collate critical data and prepare concise periodic and ad-hoc credit risk analytics and commentary to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.Lead and perform regulatory reviews (e.g., BNM thematic reviews, Composite Risk Rating & Industry-Wide Bottom-Up Stress Test, MFRS 9), risk reporting (e.g. RA/PRAP), requests (e.g., ad hoc surveys, consultation papers) and surveys (e.g., asset quality, credit risk, climate risk).Key driver of the Bank wide CCPT initiatives, with collaboration from business units, GOT-IT, Group Finance, to formulate CCPT reporting parameters and provide strategic planning on Climate Risk related projects.Independent Credit Review1. Direct the production of independent credit review reports for senior management and Board of Directors.2. Drive the in-depth analysis of bank\xe2\x80\x99s credit portfolios to review the portfolio performance, assets quality and to surface material credit risk vulnerabilities and mitigants.3. Control via independent reviews to ensure that credit decisions are in accordance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s credit risk strategy and appetite, policies and regulatory requirements via sampling the appropriateness of credit grading and provisioning.4. Comment and influences on whether risk appetite or underwriting approaches needs to be enhanced in the Bank.Credit Portfolio Risk1. Direct the performance of periodic and complex credit risk Stress Testing in collaboration with ICAAP/ST team.2. Direct the Performance semi-annual review of MFRS9 forward looking model with takes into account complex operating variables in risk modelling.3. Direct the performance of sensitivity analysis based on historical macroeconomic variables and provide Financial Statements statutory disclosure information.4. Drive the preparation of Credit Portfolio Risk Reporting for senior management and Board of Directors that discusses business and risk trends, forward looking issues, and influences strategic directions for business development and for risk mitigation for the Bank.Single Customer Exposure Limit & Connected Party1. Ensure the robust operations of the SCEL & CP Policy.2. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of SCE/CP information to Senior Management and BNM.3.
