Description Primary Objective: Accountable and Responsible (as defined in Primary Objective and Key Responsibilities) for risk management and compliance function of Group Transaction Banking (GTB). Consulted Party on implementation of GTB\'s policies, process, procedures, standards, systems, and guidelines of GTB products and services. Responsible Party to identify potential areas of risk and compliance vulnerability, provide guidance and/or coordinate & track action plans on how to mitigate the risks identified, conduct follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Oversee full compliance against established internal Risk & Compliance standards/benchmarks and regulatory (e.g. BNM and PayNet) requirements relevant to GTB products and services Oversee development and delivery of necessary awareness programs via communication and training on existing, new or enhanced guidelines on risk and compliance matters, that is directly or indirectly related to GTB products/services/operations Oversee collaborations with cross-functional teams ensuring that new products and services are developed with compliance and risk considerations. Key Responsibilities: Accountable Party (review and endorse output of Responsible Party to ensure operational efficiency / effectiveness and compliance to all regulatory and internal policies) Accountable for product/service process, compliance, audit, and risk assessment - includes new and enhancement / variation to existing products/services . Ensure internal and external governance parties are consulted in order to meet all governance pre-requisite and approval (i.e. legal, regulatory, industry standards, compliance, internal and external policies and guidelines) in order to eliminate operational and reputational risk. Accountable for submission, update and attend to all process, compliance, audit, and risk management related submissions and reporting such as LDC, SAR, AML, CFT, Fraud Investigation Responsible for advisory and support to GTB squads and circles on product/service process, compliance, audit and risk management related matters Accountable to the proactive monitoring of regulatory changes, ensuring the GTB remains compliant in all operational regions. Responsible Party (in charge of completing the task defined in BSC/OKR) Responsible to oversee the daily activities of Trade Compliance & Surveillance and Trade AML & Risk Monitoring within the department, to ensure that the set objectives are achieved Responsible to ensure accuracy, timely submission and operational effectiveness/relevance of all monthly report on AML, Compliance and Trade Surveillance findings raised by SH, Trade Compliance and Surveillance. Includes review of monthly report on Daily Summary of Accounts Reviewed and Findings submitted by SH, Trade Compliance and Surveillance. Responsible to perform and define risk-weighted and operationally feasible threshold for random review of the clearance of AML/CFT transaction monitoring alerts at AML system Responsible to coordinate random and/or ad-hoc audit/risk/compliance review exercise initiated by Group Compliance / Group Risk / Group IA on GTB Squads / GTB Operation SP Circles, facilitate deliberation with relevant parties to review/agree/track execution and effectiveness of recommended action plan i.e. improvements/ratification etc. To act as an independent party to Trade Operations / Trade Business and reports to Head, Group Transaction Banking To carry out department annual activities related to Business Continuity Management To attend to ad-hoc work or project assigned by Head, Group Transaction Banking Responsible to oversee product processes for new or updated products, establish the duties and accountabilities for each new function, and make necessary updates to SOPs and BCP manuals. Responsible to track and adapt to global regulatory changes, ensuring GTB\'s activities remain compliant. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - A recognized MBA / bachelor degree in Finance, Business or related field. Those without a degree but with at least 10 years working experience in trade operations/processing may be considered.. - A recognized MBA / bachelor degree in Finance, Business or related field Technically sound with minimum 10 years working experience in trade operations/processing. Thorough knowledge of trade products and services, and governing rules (local & international). Good command of written and spoken English language. PC literate, proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Meticulous and able to work independently Possess excellent planning and analytical skills In depth knowledge and understanding of Group\'s strategic direction and business operations. Demonstrates teamwork, strong leadership quality and excellent interpersonal skills.
