About Us Sime Darby Plantation Berhad is the world\'s largest producer of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil plantation company, accounting for around 20% market share of global production by capacity. Reporting to: Head, Group Finance Your Mission Cash and Liquidity Management To monitor and manage the net gearing position of the Group; maintain optimal cash to ensure liquidity for working capital whilst ensuring excess funds are placed or borrowings and short term facilities are pared down. This involves: (a) Malaysian entities - sweeping of funds within Malaysian entities, monitoring of daily cash positions to place out excess funds and to repay facilities with higher interest (b) Overseas - repatriation of funds from other countries via dividend, inter-co loans, rationalization of interco balances etc. Working closely with financial institutions to institute cash concentration, transfer of funds, cost saving initiatives, implement new cash management tools or new bank technologies, product and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations and account opening/closures. To ensure strict compliance to BNM Guidelines, GPA and to monitor and update Group Treasury Policies and Procedures. Capital Markets and Fund Raising Manage the capital and debt profile of the Group to ensure optional ratios of short and long term facilities in each territories which the Group operates in. This involves debt restructuring and reaching out to the banks for attractive products/ credit facilities and pricing for different loan tenors etc. Fund raising - to assess the most suitable form of financing and to negotiate for competitive and attractive terms and conditions and to execute expeditiously. Ensure no breaches of debt covenant. Risk Management To manage the risks and establish risk management strategies and implement hedging tactics to mitigate the Group\'s risk-particularly in anticipating: (a) Volatility of market\'s interest rates; and (b) Volatility of foreign exchange rates Credit Rating Agency Relations Manage the relationship with the credit rating agencies i.e Fitch, Moody\'s, MARC. Address questions and provide information request to the rating agencies in a timely manner. Treasury Operations and Controls Ensure timely and accurate submissions of reports for Group consolidation & reporting: Monthly Cash and Borrowings Monthly and Quarterly Cashflow Quarterly Financial Schedules i.e Forward Contract, Financial Guarantee, Interest Rate Swap M Plan schedules for budgets Ensure timely and accurate submission to BNM and Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) and to ensure all raised are attended promptly: International Investment Position (IIP) Report (to BNM) Labuan Offshore Entity (LOE) Report (to BNM) Survey of Outward Foreign Affiliates (to DOSM) Quarterly Report on Export of Goods Review / restructure Interco balances in view of the FRS139 requirements, IHC structure, tax considerations and thin capitalised rating. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies and procedures. Ideal Candidate Professional Accountancy Certification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) or at least a Degree in Accountancy / Finance. 15 years working experience with 10 years in treasury operations. Cross border fund movement and regional experience is essential. Strong analytical, financial and systems skills. Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tact. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience working in global business environment. Experience in plantation environment is an added advantage.
