Job Description

Responsibilities: - Develop/enhance risk management policies and framework for securities trading and investment banking activities to ensure processes and procedures are in place for risk identification, assessment, control, monitoring and reporting. - Develop/enhance risk management tools/techniques to identify, mitigate and monitor key risks for the investment bank. - Develop action plans for key risks and controls identified and assessed. - Analyse development in the marketplace to identify emerging risk. - Prepare and review risk reports for tabling to risk committees. - Instill risk awareness culture and provide support to business and support units to enhance risk management processes. Requirements: - Recognised Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business Administration / Banking or related professional qualification. MBA preferred. - A Risk Professional with minimum 7 years of experience in risk management in the capital market industry and with more than 3 years in a supervisory level. - Sound understanding of risks and controls including exposure to investment banking activities such as stockbroking, corporate finance and advisory, treasury, commercial lending. - Analytical mindset and ability to identify, assess and mitigate key risks and perform risk and root cause analysis. - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team environment with good leadership traits.
