To liaise with clients and customers to coordinate corporate events whilst building rapport and creating professional relationships. . To ensure that all work meets company standards and is according to training given all function paperwork must be accurate and complete, including catering requirements, guest preferences, booking supplements and payment details. . To create and/or extract daily reservations reports from OPERA and Hyatt Reserve systems regularly or upon request for all respective departments. . To have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the operation of the business including all food and drink menus ensuring the ability to provide a thorough response to customer enquiries. . To undertake general administration duties. . To answer incoming calls and places outgoing calls according to Hyatt telephone standard, procedure and etiquette. . Always be polite and courteous while answering calls. . To ensure that information provided to callers is precise and within the boundaries set by the hotel. . To direct calls to guest rooms, staff, or departments through the designated switchboard or PBX system. . To receive guest messages and deliver the same to the guest.
