Job Title: Bar Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess who is fluent in English to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly welcome. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Communicate with guests in Mandarin and English, assisting with any inquiries. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess station and reception area. Provide information about the restaurant, menu, and special promotions. Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary. Assist with takeout orders and other guest services as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a hostess, front desk, or customer service role preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, or similar). Knowledge of additional (Mandarin speaker) languages is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns gracefully.
