Job Summary

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Responsible for greeting, seating, and assisting guests throughout their dining experience, while supporting smooth restaurant operations and maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and bid farewell when leaving. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently using the booking system. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Communicate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth table flow. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and entrance area. Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and assist with guest requests. Keep accurate records of guest preferences and special occasions. Support daily operations and assist with service during peak hours. Handle guest complaints or feedback professionally and promptly. Ensure all service standards and company policies are followed.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in hospitality or fine dining. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, well-groomed appearance. Friendly, confident, and guest-oriented personality. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., Table app) is a plus. Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Working Conditions

Based on restaurant floor. Requires standing and walking for long periods. May be required to assist with other FOH duties when necessary.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
