Job Description

Functions:



Supports daily hotel functions by assisting with guest services, overseeing front desk and housekeeping tasks, maintaining administrative records, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments like food and beverage, all while upholding cleanliness and safety standards to enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities



Guest Services:

Work closely with front desk operations, to have full understanding of check-in/check-out process, IDB System & phone calls and emails etiquette.

Department Coordination:

Work closely with

operation department

departments to ensure rooms are ready on time and service runs smoothly.

Administrative Support:

Perform clerical duties, update internal documents, manage office orders, and maintain logs and spreadsheets.

Inventory & Supplies:

Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to meet operational needs.

Quality & Safety:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and safety within the hotel, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Staff Support:

Assist in training new staff and provide support to department heads to maintain standards and performance.

Reporting & Problem Solving:

Report any unusual occurrences or facility defects to management and use problem-solving skills to address operational issues effectively.

Anticipating guest needs and providing excellent service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Communication:

Using clear and professional language, both spoken and written, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Organization:

Managing tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments.

Problem-Solving:

Identifying and resolving issues that arise during daily operations.

Teamwork:

Collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals.

Attention to Detail:

Reconciling payments accurately, maintaining logs, and ensuring all operational details are correct.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
