The Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of the student accommodation facilities. This includes student rooms/units, common areas, and public facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment for all residents and visitors.
Core duties and responsibilities:
Clean and tidy student rooms/units, furniture, and study areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum corridors, floors, and staircases.
Clean and sanitize public areas such as lounge, kitchen, gym, and toilets.
Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, reception, and surrounding areas.
Dispose of rubbish and support recycling efforts.
Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety issues.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Job Requirements:
Minimum SPM qualification; fresh graduates are welcome (training will be provided) or candidates with at least 1 year of related working experience are preferred.
Pleasant attitude and neat appearance.
Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or facility cleaning is an added advantage.
Physically fit, reliable, and able to perform repetitive tasks.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
