This position is responsible for providing consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas and circulatory areas that meets the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s standards of cleanliness and presentation. Primary Responsibilities Operation \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend daily briefings and takes on daily assigned tasks \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand the difference in guest levels (VIPs) and Room Categories \xe2\x80\xa2 Clean and maintain areas of responsibility according to standards and procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended to \xe2\x80\xa2 Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas to Supervisor \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a section room report as well as a daily productivity report \xe2\x80\xa2 Reports lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle guest complaints tactfully, and report incidents or any other irregularities to Supervisor in a timely manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Report unusual behavior/activities in guestroom, floors/ public areas to Supervisor \xe2\x80\xa2 Record room status in allocated section accurately \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out valet services when required (e.g. delivery of linen, processing laundry orders)
