Reporting to General Manager, the Human Resource & Administration Manager will manage the full spectrum of the HR & Admin Department for a headcount of 120 employees. Key responsibilities, which include but not limited to, business partnering, recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development, performance management, payroll administration, grievance and disciplinary handling, foreign employee management and enforcement of company policies and practices. Job Role: \xc2\xb7 Manage talent acquisition process, from understanding business requirements, sourcing, qualifying to on-boarding of selected candidates \xc2\xb7 Partner with management team to understand and execute human resource and talent management and retention strategy \xc2\xb7 Keep abreast of trends in compensation and benefits; review and propose competitive remuneration package to ensure equity within the company and in line with market salary \xc2\xb7 Compensation and benefits administration which include monthly payroll, annual salary review and bonus exercise, market salary survey, group and general insurance renewal, etc \xc2\xb7 Develop new policies, procedures, guidelines, programs and initiatives which must be aligned with HQ policies, statutory and legal requirements \xc2\xb7 Develop training programs and initiatives to provide development opportunities and skill enhancement for employees \xc2\xb7 Handle and manage employee relations, conflict resolution, employee grievances, disciplinary issues and conduct investigation process \xc2\xb7 Ensure effective performance assessment are carried out on a timely basis for confirmation and annual appraisal \xc2\xb7 Expatriate management including employment pass application, renewal/cancellation, relocation to Malaysia, tax filing, etc \xc2\xb7 Foreign worker management including quota application and recruitment, hostel, repatriation, renewal of work permit, abscondment, etc \xc2\xb7 Support & coach management/supervisory group by providing advice, guidance and information on HR principles, processes & practices \xc2\xb7 Maintain compliance with statutory, legal and mandatory laws and regulations requirements, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance \xc2\xb7 Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new HR technologies, talent management, and employment law \xc2\xb7 Liaison with government agencies (KSM, KDN, JTK, JIM, ESD, MBPG, etc) for worker, expatriate and/or business-related matters \xc2\xb7 Promote and nurture a positive work environment by fostering employee engagement, satisfaction and productivity \xc2\xb7 Manage and drive office IT matters/projects, CCTV monitoring, company events/activities, Requirements:- \xc2\xb7 Diploma or Degree in Business Management (major in Human Resources) \xc2\xb7 At least 10 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing or engineering industry with at least 5 years in a managerial position \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of Employment and Industrial Relations Act, employment tax, KWSP, Socso, HRDF and HR-related government laws \xc2\xb7 Proficient in verbal and written English, dynamic, good leadership skills, high integrity and result-oriented \xc2\xb7 Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
