HR Assistant Manager
to support and oversee the daily generalist operations, and involving in strategic planning.
Job Requirements:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in full-cycle recruitment: job posting, screening resumes, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters.
Coordinate onboarding process and ensure smooth new hire orientation.
Liaise with recruitment agencies for local and foreign worker sourcing.
Payroll Processing
Support monthly payroll processing, including checking timesheets, allowances, OT, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Update payroll system with staff changes (new joiners, resignations, salary adjustments).
Assist in payroll-related reports and documentation.
Foreign Worker Management
Handle all types of work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations.
Manage foreign worker documentation including permits, visa renewals, and FOMEMA medical checkups.
Liaise with immigration and relevant government departments (JTK, KDN).
Coordinate arrival arrangements and documentation for foreign workers.
Hostel & Accommodation Management
Monitor hostel conditions to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
Handle utility payments, occupancy records, and address workers' accommodation issues.
Conduct periodic inspections and report maintenance needs.
Employee Relations & General HR Support
Handle basic employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary documentation.
Maintain proper employee records (personal files, leave, attendance).
Support HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and company rules enforcement.
Training & Development
Coordinate internal and external training logistics.
Maintain training records and follow up on feedback or attendance.
Assist in HRDF claim submissions.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain and update HR documentation and HRIS.
Prepare HR letters (confirmation, warning, termination, etc.).
Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labour laws and foreign worker regulations.
Strategic Planning
Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives, focusing on workforce planning, talent development, and succession management.
Provide input on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, organizational culture, and change management.
Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, improve processes, and support informed decision-making.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Good communications and planning skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Strategic thinking and analytical skills Positive attitude and willing to take on additional responsibilities

Pay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month
