We are looking for a people-oriented and detail-driven HR Executive to support a broad range of HR functions. This role involves hands-on responsibilities across recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, employee relations, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
Manage new hire processes including application handling, appointment letters, onboarding forms, contract stamping, and pre-employment medical check ups.
Register/terminate employees in MiCare system.
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems for staff movements (e.g., transfers, resignations).
Assist in issuance of office access cards, and prepare employee verification letters for opening of saving account.
Issue resignation acceptance letters and ensure completion of exit forms.
Compensation & Benefits
Handle monthly payroll processing and submission of statutory reports to HQ (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).
Process salary adjustments, bonuses, and verify attendance/leave records.
Submit payroll reports to HQ and support Finance with relevant analyses.
Ensure employee benefits are aligned with job grades.
Request Guarantee Letters (GL) as needed.
Training & Development
Support HRDC training grant applications and claims.
Assist in coordinating staff development programs.
Attend assigned training for personal and professional growth.
Employee Relations
Address employee queries and assist in conflict resolution to support a positive work environment.
Prepare disciplinary-related letters and assist in case documentation.
Coordinate with Labour Department (JTK) for audits and support Domestic Inquiry (DI) processes.
Staff Engagement
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and HR-led events.
Support initiatives that promote collaboration and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Performance Management
Assist in annual performance appraisal cycles and support confirmation appraisals for new employees.
Other responsibilities
Assist in ordering and distributing staff discount vouchers.
Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Perform ad hoc HR tasks as assigned by management as and when required.
Requirements:
Preferably Degree in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development
Ideally with at least 2-3 years of experience as HR generalist
Good knowledge of the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and HR systems (HRMS)
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Meticulous, attentive and proactive
Able to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
