Job Description

Human Resources Responsibilities



Recruitment & Onboarding

Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Liaise with job portals, recruitment agencies, and government platforms (e.g., MyFutureJobs). Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and confirmation letters.

Payroll & Benefits Management

Manage monthly payroll, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB). Monitor attendance and leave systems (TimeTec, AutoCount). Administer staff claims, allowances, medical benefits, and insurance policies.

Employee Relations

Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and provide counselling. Ensure compliance with Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and internal HR policies. Promote a positive work culture and staff engagement initiatives.

Training & Performance Management

Identify training needs and implement development programs. Coordinate performance appraisals (KPI reviews) and incentive schemes. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.

HR Policies & Compliance

Review and update HR handbook, SOPs, and internal policies. Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory requirements (Labour Office, PERKESO, KWSP). Manage foreign worker documentation and permit renewals (if applicable).

Finance Responsibilities



Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation). Prepare monthly management reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets, cash flow projections, and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and report on variances. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Statutory & Tax Compliance

Ensure compliance with LHDN, SST, audits, and Companies Act 2016 requirements. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities.

Cash Flow & Cost Management

Manage company cash flow, banking facilities, and petty cash. Review and control operating expenses and procurement activities.

Internal Control & Audit

Establish and maintain effective internal control systems. Safeguard company assets and prevent misuse or fraud. Support annual audit processes and documentation.

Additional Responsibilities



Participate in management and strategic planning discussions. Support HR and financial decision-making processes. Oversee general administrative functions (office supplies, maintenance, insurance renewals). Lead or assist in special projects, system implementation, or policy reviews as assigned.

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of HR and Finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law, statutory regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN), and MFRS accounting standards. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or similar systems. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Able to work independently, manage confidential information, and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
