  • Oversee everything related to people management in company.
  • This includes recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, training and development, and performance management.
2.Teamwork with leaders
  • Collaborate with Management and other department heads to assess current and future HR needs.
3.Talent recruitment
  • Lead hiring efforts to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s HR needs with the right mix of skills and backgrounds to help the company grow.
4.Engagement and retention
  • Develop and oversee implementation of HR activities for employee engagement and talent retention.
5.Policy making
  • Create and update internal HR policies and procedures to match the prevailing laws in Malaysia and industry norms/ practices.
6.Leading the HR team
  • Provide guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism and continuous learning.
7.Reporting structure
  • Reports directly to head of Malaysia operations (Vice President), with a dotted line to Group Chief Financial Officer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Diploma/ degree holder in Business Management, HR Management or related field
  • At least 5 years of working experience in HR, preferably in Manufacturing industry
  • Language proficiency requirements:
  • Knowledge or direct experience in managing the following areas would be an added advantage:
  • Soft skills sought after in a candidate:
  • English \xe2\x80\x93 Professional in speaking and writing
  • Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia \xe2\x80\x93 At least able to converse in basic form
  • Centralized workers accommodation and the related regulations & practices in Malaysia
  • Recruitment and retention of domestic workers for blue collar position
  • Global HR generalist/ support function
  • Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance
  • Proactive, able to assimilate in the company\xe2\x80\x99s performance-based culture
  • Ability to influence and interact effectively with all levels of employees and cross-functionally
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to understand the pulse of employee morale
  • Courage to deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
