Responsible for managing the full spectrum of human resource including manpower.
Planning, talent management, recruitment and selection, training, and development, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee engagement.
Responsible for formulating and ensuring consistent HR policies and practices for office and stores in lines to business needs and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Align and implement HR strategies and initiatives in supporting the business goals and objectives
Manage manpower budgeting, benefits programs, and cost management.
Establish, maintain, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure internal controls and compliance
Oversee the complete payroll function from monthly payroll processing/approval, monthly statutory payments to yearly income tax reporting
Work a business partner to internal business function leaders to provide HR advisory, support and deliver best class HR services.
Build workforce capability through identifying training needs, formulate training plan and implementation of programs
Drive employee engagement activities, maintain employee relations and promote a conducive work environment
Enhance and maintain the workplace safety and health program.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines
At least 8 years of experience in Human Resource with at least 4 years in team management experience.
Experience in Retail industry or FMCG is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office applications and IT savvy with HR software
Good knowledge of HR practices and applicable laws
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
Strong leadership skills, people oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
