  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for all non-academic positions, providing guidance and support to line managers to ensure effective hiring decisions aligned with our recruitment policies.
  • Oversee the onboarding and induction process for non-academic staff, ensuring completion of pre-employment screenings to safeguard student well-being.
  • Act as the custodian of staff-related policies and the employee handbook, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to line managers on staff grievances and disciplinary procedures, ensuring fair and consistent handling of these matters.
  • Supervise the implementation of the annual staff appraisal and performance management process for non-academic staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute an annual training plan for non-academic staff that aligns with business needs and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to establish succession and talent management processes for non-academic staff.
  • Oversee the review of pay and benefits, collecting external data to inform decisions and collaborating with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate costing of proposals.
  • Provide input and guidance on pay and benefits matters as needed.
  • Efficiently handle all HR administration tasks, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in areas such as staff and student-related insurance policies and staff medical benefits.
  • Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
