The role includes collaborating with Malaysia leadership to implement People & Culture initiatives; drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development. This role will provide in-country support to the Malaysia business.P&C Planning
- Collaborate with in-country leaders to understand business goals and develop P&C strategies supporting the overall organizational objectives.
- Work with business leaders to identify and anticipate immediate and future people\'s needs and develop practical solutions.
- Align P&C Initiatives with the company\'s long-term strategic plans.Business Partnerships
- Drive people strategy and initiatives in partnership with business leaders, the People Experience team, and P&C COEs (talent acquisition, talent management including learning and development, Rewards, and People Services) in line with people policies and business priorities. This includes recruitment strategy, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and employee experience.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to serve as a trusted advisor.Talent Management
- Work closely with leadership to identify key talent needs and develop effective talent management strategies.
- Facilitate and partner with the respective Heads and people managers on guru\'s career management and the identification of staff for promotion and mobility.
- Co-facilitate with the Talent team in the development, review, or realignment of the appropriate organization structure and job management for the business to meet the business\'s strategic and operational objectives.Employee Relations
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Address complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate resolutions.Change Management
- Lead and facilitate change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance.
- Works with people leaders on change interventions, facilitating organization design and process outcomes that ensure functions are well-positioned to deliver against strategic priorities.Performance Management
- Provide coaching to leaders on performance feedback and improvement strategies.
- Facilitate the implementation of performance management strategies and performance improvement plans at the business units.
- Facilitate difficult conversations and mediate situations to achieve optimal outcomes to ensure a harmonious working environment.P&C Analytics and Metrics
- Utilize P&C data and analytics to identify trends, assess organizational effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare regular reports on P&C metrics and key performance indicators for Malaysia Leadership.Employee Engagement
- Act as a change agent in leading and facilitating engagement activities and business strategic initiatives to promote transformation and people people-centric culture.
