Job Description

Job Responsibilities -Provide an administrative support to the health, safety & environment department. -Coordinate and ensure documents management and data entry of HSE files under various information systems as part of the ISO 140001 certifications. -To be responsible for recording and acknowledging any health & safety queries or concerns, tracking and monitoring progress against actions. -Perform data entry, documentation, printing and filling duties. -Manage and distribute HSE documents. -Compile record, data and inspection reports on monthly basis. -Ensure filing system is maintained and up to date. -Assist in preparatory works in HSE. -Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements -Candidate must possess Diploma in Safety and Health or other relevant qualification. -Minimum 1 year working experience in safety. -Knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Factory and Machinery Act -Must be fluent writing and speaking in English & Bahasa Malaysia. -Able to work in fast-paced working environment. -Good interpersonal and communication skills -Good time management, multi-tasking and able to work with minimum supervision. -Must be willing to work in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang.
Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber Sdn. Bhd. is a new petrochemical company in Pasir Gudang (Tanjung Langsat Industrial Estate). We just started our commercial operation as the 1st manufacturer of Synthetic Rubber (butadiene rubber) in Malaysia. The Company is a joint venture among the established multi-national corporations (i.e. Lotte Chemical Corporation of South Korea, and Ube Industries Ltd.Japan). The new plant in Pasir Gudang will have the capacity to produce 50,000 tons of Synthetic Rubber annually. Synthetic Rubber is the best available substitute for natural rubber with very high demand from various downstream applications such as in tyres manufacturing industries, high impact polystyrene (HIPS), shoes, automotive and other related industries. Asia is the biggest market for Synthetic Rubber and its demand is expected continue growing in future. Lotte Chemical Corporation with two butadiene plants in South Korea (Daesan and Yeosu) and Lotte Chemical Titan in Malaysia, is having an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes annually. Whilst Ube Industries Ltd maintain a global production of synthetic rubber via its existing plants in Japan, China and Thailand with overall annual capacity of 436,000 tonnes.
