Job Description
Role Purpose
To support the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team in implementing safety policies, programs, and initiatives across the workplace. The Safety Intern will assist in promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and engaging staff in safety awareness activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in
safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
within the workplace. Support inupdating and maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation
. Participate inincident/accident investigations
and assist in preparing reports. Help coordinatesafety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns
. Monitor and assist in the upkeep ofsafety equipment
(e.g., fire extinguishers, PPE, first aid kits). Assist in compiling and analyzingsafety data/statistics
for reporting purposes. Support compliance activities in line withDOSH, DOE, and other regulatory requirements
. Assist inOSH Committee meetings
(preparation of agenda, minutes, follow-up actions). Participate incontinuous improvement projects
related to occupational safety and health.Requirements
Currently pursuing a
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field
. Strong interest in workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Good communication, observation, and report-writing skills. Able to work independently and in a team. Proficient inMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
Work Location: In person
