HSE Manager - Energy Solutions

Energy Solutions, we offer integrated renewable energy solutions such as PV roof-top and ground-mounted installations, solar carports with integrated e-mobility concepts and battery storage systems, as well as financing concepts, including leasing and power purchase agreements. Drawing on our years of expertise in the sector, we work closely with clients to identify the energy sourcing mix that best matches their needs. About the role
The HSE & Compliance manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health, Safety and Environment policies and programs in compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The role will require managing and improving the HSE performance across all projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and developing and implementing HSE strategies to meet business objective.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs for the company\'s renewable energy projects.
  • Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HS&E programs in the field.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits, risk assessments, and inspections of company facilities, equipment, and processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.
  • Communicate, coach and assist the field staff to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met.
  • Establish and implement HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSE management, including OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate and report HSE incidents, accidents, and nearmisses, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide HSE leadership and support to project teams, contractors and stakeholders, and ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain HSE performance metrics and report on HSE performance to senior management.
  • Continuously monitor and assess industry trends, regulations and standards related to HSE management and implement changes as needed.

Technical
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management in the renewable energy industry
  • Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Experience in conducting HSE audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
