You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeReporting to Sr HR Manager, Island South East Asia, the Principal HRBP Malaysia Singapore is responsible to develop people strategy in alignment with Country Directors of Singapore and Malaysia. The HRBP helps to translate strategy into relevant people related actions. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Works closely with the CoE\xe2\x80\x99s to deliver value-added services to the leadership. The HRBP would be an integral member of devising short- and medium-term plans, its culture and future road map. Serves as a consultant to leadership on human resources-related issues, plays the role of an employee champion and change agent.Scope: Malaysia and Singapore has over 300+ employees in each of the Countries. No Direct reportsThe role will be supported by COE Leads, Ask HR and HR Operations as per HR Operating Model.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:CONNECTING BUSINESS AND TALENT STRATEGYActively participates with Malaysia and Singapore leadership in strategy development and operational planningEstablish strong partnering relationships across assigned functions to enable business outcomesMaintain an \xe2\x80\x9coutside-in\xe2\x80\x9d perspective to leverage current industry and Medtronic best practices and insights in support of talent strategiesLEADING ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN INITIATIVESDesign strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness, with specific focus on team effectiveness and functional operational efficiencyPartner with management to assess organizational capabilities in alignment with business strategyEnsure effective organization structure, design, and staffing modelsAssess and facilitate organization design and leadership changesENABLING LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESSInfluence business outcomes through credible and authentic relationships with leaders and colleaguesCounsel leaders in alignment with Medtronic policies/practices, legal considerations, and company priorities\xe2\x80\x94advocating both company and employee concernsServe as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders giving effective feedback, performance coaching, and development advice in support of their leadership effectivenessCREATING AN ALIGNED AND COHESIVE HR EXPERIENCE FOR CLIENTSTalent Management - Partner to implement regular talent and organizational reviews, career development planning, performance management, workforce planning, and org health.Talent Acquisition \xe2\x80\x93 Partner to identify key functional and leadership talent to strengthen the talent pipeline and increase organizational diversity.Total Rewards - Partner to effectively implement and communicate Medtronic compensation and benefits programs to successfully attract, motivate and retain employees.Employee Relations - Partner to anticipate, identify and facilitate resolution of ER issuesInclusion and Diversity - Drive progress toward GIDE aspirations and ensure diversity of talent.Required Knowledge and Experience:Must Have:Bachelors degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experienceYour Profile:Master degree in Human Resources Management, Organization Development or Business is strongly preferredMinimum 6-8 years of relevant experiencesEnglish proficiency is essentialWhat We OfferWe recognize the personal worth of employees by providing an employment framework that allows personal satisfaction in work accomplished, security, advancement opportunity, and means to share in the company\'s success.
