The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the company's monthly payroll process accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD. This role also supports payroll reporting and employee inquiries related to compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll accurately for all employees (HQ and outlets).
Verify attendance, overtime, allowances, incentives, and deductions before payroll processing.
Ensure statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD) and timely submissions.
Prepare and maintain payroll reports, summaries, and supporting documents.
Handle queries related to salary, payslips, and statutory contributions.
Update and maintain employee records (new joiners, resignations, transfers).
Liaise with Finance for payment and reconciliation.
Support annual activities such as EA form preparation and audit requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee data at all times.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing (experience with HR2000 or similar system is an advantage).
Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.
