Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, follow-up, and administration.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires at the Penang site, ensuring smooth pre-employment arrangements and orientation.
Handle HR documentation such as employment letters, staff records, attendance, claims, overtime (OT) calculations, and other HR-related forms.
Provide administrative support including maintaining personnel files, updating HR databases, and preparing HR reports.
Assist with employee engagement activities and act as the first point of contact for HR matters at the Penang office.
Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and Malaysian employment regulations.
Liaise with the HR team in Putrajaya on HR operations, recruitment progress, and any site-specific HR matters.
Perform any other HR or administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR operational work is required.
Good understanding of HR documentation, claims processing, and OT calculations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact well with staff across all levels.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is an advantage.
